Picking a new avatar

Just before I go to a quilt show, I like to update my avatar so my online quilting buddies will recognize me. I tried taking my own photo with less than wonderful results. See if you can guess which one I chose?

Perla Quilts

The blue 30's prints has a couple of options. Not much will show in the prints but I think that feathers will give it lots of texture. The blue makes a very nice concentric diamonds pattern that I would like to highlight. The blue parts would get either something called line-dancing (hooks and curls or a braid. The border would match whatever is quilted in the diamonds. Do either of these look good to you? I have drawn only in one corder so you get an idea.

In the buzzsaw I was thinking about soft and sharp points. Feathers in the print and sawtooth spinner in the light. Feather border.

Sherry's Big Pansies

This is a lasagna style quilt done with strips with the sweetest little pansy flowers in it. I decided to quilt giant pansies all over with leaves and loops. I used Old Gold thread by PermaCore and Quilter's Dream Select batting.

Another QOV

I got this little log cabin variation in red, white and blue is a peach. I used Signature White thread and the Julie Mullin Star-Spangled Banner panto. It is my sincere desire that it bring comfort to the recipient.

A Quilt for Heather

Hi Heather, what a sweet little quilt this is. I have 3 ideas for you. I see that you have the batting in the quilt. I just brought back my $5.00 thread charge. It was suspended about a year ago because I had over 270 cones of thread. I am not going to charge you for thread on this one, it is so small. But I wanted you to know that the charge is back. The shipping is probably about $7.00. So here are my ideas;
-- a basic stipple would be $44.61
-- a meander with leaves and loops, maybe some ribbons
-- a meander of feathers like the one I did for your niece would be $51.48
-- a big swirl pattern would be $60.54
-- a circular pattern called 7 Treasures $60.54
